Musik für Frieden und Völkerverständigung e.V. is a non-profit association that has been founded in april 2017 to organize and promote the Music for Peace
projects.
The preamble of the association's statutes expresses its goal as follows:
"Knowing that music can foster peace and understanding in individuals, in groups and peoples, the association Musik für Frieden und Völkerverständigung (Music
for peace and understanding) is founded with the goal to support and organize concerts, performances, broadcasts, films, education, compositions and other forms of art- and music projects that
are aimed at deepening or increasing intercultural, interreligious and interpersonal encounter and relations."
